KROKUS: New Studio, Live Albums To See U.S. Release This Summer

April 5, 2004

Veteran Swiss hard rockers KROKUS will celebrate their 25-year anniversary this summer with the U.S. release of two new albums. The first CD, "Fire and Gasoline", is a collection of the band's greatest hits recorded live on their last European tour. Classic KROKUS songs like "Screaming In the Night", "Long Stick Goes Boom" and "Stayed Awake All Night" are included on the effort, which hits the streets on June 29 through Reality Entertainment. The group's second U.S. release will come in the shape of the band's latest studio album, "Rock the Block", which debuted at No. 1 on the Swiss Album chart upon its release in January 2003 and has since achieved platinum status in the band's home country. That CD will arrive in the shops on July 27.

Commented Reality Entertainment CEO Warren Croyle: "Both CDs are classics in their own right and should be treated as separate releases. We discussed making a single package, but the band and everyone here at the label felt they were two unique products. I am confident that KROKUS fans will appreciate the effort we have put into the quality and packaging."

KROKUS plan to tour in support of both these releases later this year.
