KROKUS Defend Decision To Carry On With New Guitarist

March 6, 2005

Swiss hard rockers KROKUS have posted a new message on their official web site offering more information about the depature of longtime guitarist Fernando Von Arb and the return of Mandy Meyer as the group's new axeman. It reads as follows:

"Of course, we do understand that some fans are really disapointed — that's OK and that's why we have a guestbook… to let people say whatever they feel! It was also not really easy and funny for the band to go on after Fern's decision, but as respect for him, everybody must understand.... THIS IS HIS DECISION! Of course, he's an engine and a great musician but we are convinced that with the talent of Mandy Meyer we will be able to give our fans what they deserve and in RESPECT of what KROKUS was and still IS!

"This decision was taken in a quiet situation there is no fight goin' on and the band and Fern are and will remain always in contact. We will also inform you about Fernando's future projects on these pages!

"Immediate future of KROKUS will be first to bring this band with Mandy on the road for more concerts and the new album will be postponed a little, but no worries it will happen!

"Thanks to all of you who understand and well, also those who don't! Rock On!"
