KORN To Perform New Single At 'MTV Video Music Awards Latin America'

October 15, 2003

KORN will perform live for the first time ever at an award show during the "MTV Video Music Awards Latin America 2003" on October 23. The group, who are scheduled to release their sixth album, "Take a Look in the Mirror", on November 25, will premier their new single, "Right Now", at the Miami event.

"We are extremely proud that KORN has chosen our show to premiere their new song and to lose their award show virginity", said Charlie Singer, Senior Vice President of Programming and Production. "They bring an energy to our show that is going to be hard to contain in the Jackie Gleason Theatre. But, we'll do our best!"

Hosted by international Mexican actor Diego Luna, the second annual VMALA event will take place Thursday, October 23, 2003 at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach and will air live on MTV Latin America and MTV2 in the U.S. at 9:00 p.m. ET (8:00 p.m. Mexico, 10:00 p.m. Chile and Argentina). Following its premiere, the event will air on MTV U.S. on Saturday, November 1 at 11 p.m. ET/PT and will be available to air on MTV's 44 channels around the world throughout November.
