KORN Singer Says Band Have Finished Demoing 15 New Songs

February 16, 2005

KORN frontman Jonathan Davis has reportedly told the Rocket 95.1 radio station in Huntsville, Alabama that the band have finished demoing 15 tracks for their new album. According to Jonathan, the recording process for the new CD is moving along steadily and they are still experimenting with the new songs. Among the producers KORN have worked with so far on the new album are Dallas Austin (TLC, MADONNA, MICHAEL JACKSON) and Atticus Clark.

In other news, Davis confirmed that plans exist for KORN to release a live DVD featuring footage mainly from last summer's Projekt Revolution Tour. A late 2005 release is expected.

KORN's last release, "Greatest Hits, Vol. 1" (Immortal/Epic),featuring highlights from the first 10 years of the band's recording career, has sold more than 760,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

In addition to KORN's biggest songs, "Greatest Hits" also includes two brand-new covers — a remake of CAMEO's "Word Up" and a medley of PINK FLOYD's "Another Brick In The Wall, Parts 1, 2, & 3".
