KORN Give Fans Chance To Direct New Video

KORN are giving fans a chance to direct the video for "Alone I Break", the next single from the band's latest CD, Untouchables.

"We know how creative and talented a lot of our fans are," said KORN vocalist Jonathan Davis in a statement. "They proved that by the amount of amazing submissions for the (1999 album) Issues cover contest, and we are looking forward to getting our fans creatively involved again by directing the video for 'Alone I Break'."

Bassist Fieldy added: "We always try to push the envelope with our videos, and having a fan direct is a great way to keep that going."

Fans should submit their video treatment via MTV's web site or by mailing entries to:

MTV's Direct A Video Contest
550 Madison Avenue
New York, NY 10022

Entries will be accepted through August 21st. A panel of judges from Epic Records will narrow down submissions to 21 finalists. The band will then decide the winner. Winners will be flown to Los Angeles and given computer equipment valued at $2,250, DV camera equipment valued at $4,500, and a director's fee of $21,000. Participants must be a U.S. resident, be 18-34 years old, and not be employed by a commercial production company.
