KITTIE To Film Video For 'Into The Darkness'

May 25, 2004

Canadian metal band KITTIE will be shooting a video for their new single, "Into the Darkness", later this month with the husband-and-wife team of Greg Kaplan and Rafaela Monfradini (EVERY TIME I DIE, AVENGED SEVENFOLD). The song (audio available here) is expected to surface beginning June 21, while KITTIE's third album, "Until The End", is set for a July 27 release through Artemis Records.

The follow-up to 2001's "Oracle" was recorded during the month of March at Longview Farm Studios in Massachussetts and was produced by Steve Thompson (KORN, ANTHRAX). Six of the album's tracks were written prior to last summer's U.S. tour, allowing the band to try them out live as they trekked across the country. Joining the KITTIE lineup as the permanent second guitarist will be Lisa Marx, formerly of the Seattle hardcore band TO SEE YOU BROKEN.
