KITTIE To Begin Demoing New Material This Week

KITTIE guitarist/vocalist Morgan Lander and drummer Mercedes Lander will be entering Mole Studios in London, Ontario later this week to begin demoing material for their upcoming CD. They expect to record five songs during their session, according to a post on the group's web site.

KITTIE recently parted ways with longtime label Artemis Records "due to a proposed amendment to the recording budget for the pending fourth KITTIE album," according to a post on the band's web site.

KITTIE have yet to announce replacemenets for guitarist Lisa Marx and bassist Jennifer Arroyo, who left the band earlier in the year. The band's most recent album, "Until the End", was released in July 2004.
