KISS Frontman To Host Las Vegas Charity Event

November 4, 2002

KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley is hosting "The Masquerade Ball" in Las Vegas next April, with the proceeds going to help underprivileged children.

Stanley recently spoke to Undercover about his involvement in the charity event. "I was approached to be part of this 'Masquerade Ball'," he said. "I get approached to do a lot of things. I had some people do some research and it really sounded like a very good idea. I am a big believer in charities and a big believer in that we need to give back as much as we can because we are very fortunate to have what we do. Some people don't really see it like that and that is a shame. But here is a way that either consciously or unconsciously you can make some good donations through some good charities and in the process have a great time. Las Vegas is amazing and this is going to be a multi-day event with a lot of activities and people flying in from three or four countries and there will also be the 'Masquerade Ball'. There will be great entertainment and in the meantime it is also a great way to make some sort of donations to charities. It is really up to us to help each other out in a situation where you are helping people less fortunate than you and you also get to have a great time on top of it. How can you lose?"
