KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Singer Comments On SLAYER Tour

July 12, 2004

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will embark on a headlining tour from August 17 to September 17 with FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES, EIGHTEEN VISIONS and 36 CRAZYFISTS opening, playing cities all over the United States.

In addition, from late October 27 through mid-December, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will tour with SLAYER on the latest incarnation of the highly successful Jagermeister Tour. Vocalist Howard Jones says of the Jager trek, "Every band that has any kind of metal influence owes at least part of their existence to SLAYER. To get a chance to play with AND see them every night on the Jager tour is like the first time you eat chocolate...SWEET. This is going to be a tour to remember, bring your dancing shoes kids!"

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are currently preparing to film the video for their newest single "The End of Heartache", which will be the first single on the up-coming "Resident Evil 2" soundtrack, due August 31 through Roadrunner Records.
