KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Bassist Forced To Miss Philadelphia Gig

Bassist Mike D'Antonio was forced to miss KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's performance at the Northstar Bar in Philadelphia Wednesday night (Jan. 5) due to "an illness in the family," according to a posting on the group's web site. "Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family, and we hope all turns out well," the band write. Replacing Mike in the group's lineup was KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's merchandise man Wayne. "Wayne is also a fellow alum of the Berklee College of Music with Adam and Joel," the group write on their web site.

As previously reported, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have been confirmed for "The Taste of Chaos" tour that will also feature THE USED and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. From early February through the middle of April, "The Taste of Chaos Tour" will take KILLSWITCH ENGAGE around North America playing venues ranging in size from 3,000- to 10,000-seat capacity.
