KAURA To Open For GODSMACK, ROB ZOMBIE In California

September 29, 2006

Berkeley, California-based rock band KAURA has been added to the GODSMACK and ROB ZOMBIE show in Concord on October 1. KAURA will take the stage at 7:00 p.m.

Just one month after being invited to open for TOOL on the band's "10,000 Days" tour stop in Sacramento, KAURA (pronounced Kay-Ora) is looking forward to playing on one the summer's hottest hard rock packages.

KAURA recently got back from traveling to India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Bali, and Laos, where they collected instruments to incorporate into their melodic and epic rock sound. They documented the entire trip on video, which was recently released on DVD. Former A PERFECT CIRCLE bassist Paz Lenchantin played on the band's self-released EP last year and KAURA is currently in negotiations with record labels about the release of its first album.
