KATRA: 'One Wish Away' Video Released

October 16, 2010

"One Wish Away", the new video from KATRA, the Finnish gothic metal band named after its charismatric frontwoman Katra Solopuro, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Markku Kirves and features an appearance by Flamma, the biggest and most versatile fire performance group in Finland, which combines different aspects of circus, theater, dance, martial arts and extravagant showmanship with controlling fire in its shows.

"One Wish Away" comes off KATRA's new album, "Out Of The Ashes", which is scheduled for release on October 26 in the U.S. and November 1 in Europe via Napalm Records (except in Finland, where it will be made available on October 27 through Bullhead).

"Out Of The Ashes" track listing:

01. Delirium
02. One Wish Away
03. If There's No Tomorrow
04. Vendetta
05. Out Of The Ashes
06. Envy
07. Mirror
08. Anthem
09. The End Of The Scene

The song "Out Of The Ashes" is available for streaming on KATRA's MySpace page.

KATRA is:

Katra Solopuro - Vocals
Teemu Mätäsjärvi - Guitar
Kristian Kangasniemi - Guitar
Johannes Tolonen - Bass
Matti Auerkallio (AVENIE, SOULFALLEN) - Drums

KATRA made headlines in Finland in January 2007 when the group's song "Tietäjä" — which qualified for the Finnish final in the Eurovision Song Contest — was dismissed by some as a "copy" of WITHIN TEMPTATION's "Jillian".
