KATAKLYSM/EX DEO Frontman To Take Part In Online Chat

March 30, 2010

KATAKLYSM/EX DEO frontman Maurizio Iacono will take part in a online chat this Wednesday, March 31 at noon PST / 3 p.m. EST at www.metalcamp.co.uk.

KATAKLYSM recently completed the songwriting process for its new album, "Heaven's Venom", for a tentative fall release via Nuclear Blast Records. Tentative songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Soul Made of Shrapnel", "Blind Savior", "Hail the Renegade" and "Push the Venom".

The follow-up to 2008's "Prevail", "Heaven's Venom" will once again be recorded by guitarist Jean-Francois Dagenais (MALEVOLENT CREATION, MISERY INDEX) while Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, SUICIDE SILENCE, WINDS OF PLAGUE, DARK TRANQUILLITY) will handle mixing duties.

Video footage of KATAKLYSM's January 31, 2010 performance at Melkweg in Amsterdam, Holland can be viewed below (courtesy of "letthedeathmetalflow").
