KATAFALK Guitarist Stars In TV Commercial: Video Available

July 21, 2004

Guitarist Chris of Dutch death/thrashers KATAFALK recently starred in a TV commercial for Internet company Chello, broadcasted on Dutch MTV, TMF and Nickelodeon. The clip features the Dutch axeman smashing a guitar into the computer of an unsuspecting computer "nerd" to the sounds of the KATAFALK track "Cannonfodder". An MPG file of the clip (as well as a full mp3 of the track "Cannonfodder") can be downloaded from the KATAFALKweb site.

In other news, KATAFALK will enter studio next month to record some new tracks. A new record deal for the group has yet to be announced. KATAFALK's debut album, "Storm Of The Horde", was released last year through Dutch label Cold Blood Industries (GOD DETHRONED, DEADHEAD, INRI, THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT).

KATAFALK's next gig will take place at the Occultfest on September 4 in Hoogeveen, Holland. Other bands set to appear at the festival include AS IT BURNS, BLACK RODEO, C OF E, DEVIOUS, GOD DETHRONED, MAKILADORAS, MASSIVE ASSAULT, METHUSALEM, MORNING, MORTUARY IOD, PLEURISY, UNAUTHORIZED, and cult Dutch heavy metal act VORTEX.
