Former THE 3RD AND THE MORTAL "goddess of beauty" Kari Rueslåtten, presently known simply as Kari, has started writing material for next solo album and expects to begin recording in the summer for a tentative late 2003/early 2004 release. According to a recent interview with Kari, the new material is "folky and up-tempo" and will likely feature the same lineup as the one Rueslåtten is using on her current tour (Håkon Austheim on drums, Jørn Flemsæter on guitars, and Frode Flemsæter on keyboards, samples and backing vocals). Rueslåtten's latest CD, "Pilot", was made available in the German-speaking countries on Nov. 25 via Prophecy Productions.
