KAMELOT Performs With ROY KHAN's Grandfather In Elverum; Video Available

KAMELOT singer Roy Khan's 86-year-old grandfather Kåre joined the band on stage on May 23, 2009 in Elverum, Norway to perform the song (on accordion) "Danse mi vise, gråte min sang". Watch fan-filme video footage of the performance below.

KAMELOT will enter the studio later this month to record the follow-up to 2007's "Ghost Opera", tentatively due in late 2009/early 2010. The band will once again work with producers Sascha Paeth and Miro, with the recording/mixing sessions scheduled to take place at studios in Germany, Norway and the USA.

KAMELOT's final concerts of 2009 will take place this summer, including an appearance at the Sonisphere festival in Nijmegen, Netherlands with METALLICA.

SPV/Steamhammer recently released KAMELOT's "Ghost Opera" (2007) and "The Black Halo" (2005) albums as gatefold double LPs. This marks the first vinyl releases for the band.
