JUDAS PRIESTESS To Headline Myrtle Beach Hard Rock Café PINKtober Benefit

September 27, 2012

JUDAS PRIESTESS — New York City's sensational all-girl tribute to metal masters JUDAS PRIEST — returns to Myrtle Beach to headline the Hard Rock Café on Friday, October 5 at 9 p.m. As part of the Fall Bike Week activities taking place in town, the Hard Rock Café is designating the JUDAS PRIESTESS single appearance in South Carolina as part of their "PINKtober" Breast Cancer Awareness Benefit events. This is the band's second year headlining a Pinktober benefit concert for the Hard Rock, having performed last year at the Hard Rock Café in Niagara Falls, New York.

Last year, JUDAS PRIESTESS received glowing front-page coverage from the Myrtle Beach Sun News "Kicks" entertainment section when the ladies performed in Myrtle Beach at Harley Bike Week, headlining for three nights at Suck Bang Blow (Four Corners) during the festivities.

JUDAS PRIESTESS, formed almost three years ago, has a worldwide reputation with acclamation from press and fans alike. The band was just the main attraction (and for the past two years) at the Indian Larry Motorcycles Grease Monkey Block Party in Brooklyn, New York, which is a large internationally attended and world famous street party for a legion of motorcycle enthusiasts held in trendy Williamsburg.

With favorable notice from members of JUDAS PRIEST themselves, notably Rob Halford, K.K. Downing, and JUDAS PRIEST original founder Al Atkins, these women have successfully demolished anyone's preconceived idea of what a "tribute" band is, and especially an all-female tribute. They have carved a very special and distinct place for themselves in the over-saturated world of rock and roll with their original interpretations of the classic metal repertoire of that influential and legendary band. The stellar performances by the ladies of JUDAS PRIESTESS always wow the crowd with both blistering talent and the unmistakable hard rockin' look that defines who they are.
