JUDAS PRIEST Set Release Date For New Album

July 21, 2004

JUDAS PRIEST have set a December 28 release date through Epic Records for their first studio album with singer Rob Halford since 1990's "Painkiller". "The band and I had meetings with our new label Epic (Sony) when we were in New York," PRIEST Management Co-ordinator Jayne Andrews writes on the group's web site. "Their support and enthusiasm was great — we really look forward to working with them all. A world tour will be following starting early in 2005."

As previously reported, JUDAS PRIEST filmed their show in Barcelona, Spain last month for an upcoming live DVD, tentatively due in 2005. No further information is currently available.
