JOURNEY will open the 2015 Hollywood Bowl season with a performance with Thomas Wilkins and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra on June 20. The ever-popular and enduring rock band will perform a full set, marking the group's first-ever appearance with an orchestra. The opening-night concert will also feature performances by the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA). The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks show.
Proceeds from the evening benefit the Los Angeles Philharmonic and its education and community programs, which reach more than 120,000 children, teachers and adults every year.

JOURNEY — original members Neal Schon (guitars, backing vocals) and Ross Valory (bass, backing vocals); long-term members Jonathan Cain (keyboards, backing vocals) and Deen Castronovo (drums, percussion, backing vocals); and lead singer Arnel Pineda — has had three highly successful appearances at the Bowl since 2006. Since the group's formation in 1973, JOURNEY has earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 gold and platinum albums. With easily recognizable hits such as "Don't Stop Believin'", "Any Way You Want It", "Open Arms" and "Faithfully", the band's Opening Night performance promises to be an exciting kick-off to the summer of 2015.
JOURNEY sees its music become more popular as the years go on. In a career spanning four decades, JOURNEY is blazing hotter than ever and has reached heights that few artists can reach these days, with its "Greatest Hits" album earning more than 15 million in sales. Through the years, JOURNEY has kept the music alive with airplay and a touring schedule most bands can't, or won't, match. And the TV and film exposure of "Don't Stop Believin'" has helped to make the song the No. 1 digital catalog song in history, with track sales of 6.4 million in the U.S.
