JON LORD To Perform 'Concerto For Group And Orchestra' In Germany

According to, former DEEP PURPLE keyboardist Jon Lord has confirmed three German concerts, billed as "An Evening With Jon Lord Featuring Concerto For Group And Orchestra."

The dates are as follows:

May 11 - Koblenz, Germany - Sporthalle Oberwerth
May 13 - Frankfurt, Germany - Jahrhunderthalle
May 14 - Stuttgart, Germany - Liederhalle Beethovensaal

Lord released his latest album, "To Notice Such Things", on March 29 through Avie Records. The CD entered the U.K.'s official classical chart at No. 4. The all-instrumental album was recorded at the end of September 2009 with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Clark Rundell with Cormac Henry on flute.
