Joey Ramone: Solo CD, RNR Hall Of Fame Induction Ahead

Joey Ramone's posthumous debut solo album, entitled Don't Worry About Me, is due out on February 19th via Sanctuary Records. Among the musicians performing on the CD are Andy Shernoff (DICTATORS, who also co-wrote the track "Stop Thinking About It"), drummer Frank Funaro (ex-DICTATORS, ex-DEL-LORDS, current member of CRACKER), as well as drummer Marky Ramone. THE DAMNED's Captain Sensible guests on the track Mr. Punchy. The album's producer is Daniel Rey, who recently finished mixing tracks that had not been completed before Joey's death from cancer last April. In other news, THE RAMONES will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 18th.
