Bassist Ray Riendeau (JAMES LABRIE, HALFORD) will soon release his new solo album, "Atmospheres".

Commented Ray: "It has been eight years since the release of my last solo CD.

"My new CD, scheduled to be released this summer, is something I have been working on for two years and is some of my best playing/compositions ever (in my opinion). The music is a blend of fusion, jazz, rock and electronic."

The album features the following players:

* Alex Machacek
* Nat Janoff
* Marco Sfogli
* Greg Koch
* Jeff Kollman
* Ron Jarzombek
* Derek Taylor
* Rob Michael
* Ward Aycock

* Lalle Larsson
* Alex Argento
* Matt Guillory

* David Haynes
* Martin Diamond

Ray recently completed bass tracks for the new James LaBrie (DREAM THEATER) solo album, which will feature additional contributions from Marco Sfogli (guitar), Matt Guillory (keyboards) and Peter Wildoer (drums; DARKANE). Ray will also be part of LaBrie's touring band in support of the CD.

Ray has an instructional book/CD/DVD coming out later this year through Alfred Publishing.
