JAMES HETFIELD, ALICE COOPER Perform At Benefit Concert In Maui; Photos Available

January 3, 2011

Legendary rocker Alice Cooper rang in the New Year by joining fellow Rock And Roll Hall Of Famers James Hetfield (METALLICA) and Mick Fleetwood (FLEETWOD MAC) along with Pat Simmons (THE DOOBIE BROTHERS) and Mike Kroeger (NICKELBACK) on stage in Maui, Hawaii. The "supergroup" got together to play on New Year's Eve at a special party at Mala Wailea to benefit the MACC and the Maui Food Bank.

A couple of pictures of this supergroup playing a version of Cooper's "School's Out" can be found at AliceCooper.com.

The benefit was the second of two shows performed by the FLEETWOOD MAC co-founder and his band, the MICK FLEETWOOD BLUES BAND; they also played on December 30 at a Maui Celebrity Series concert at Maui Theatre in Lahaina.
