Fan-filmed video footage of JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR performing the VIRGIN STEELE classic "Go Down Fighting" at the Magic Circle Festival III in Loreley, Germany on July 18, 2009 can be viewed below. The clip features guitarist Jack Starr (VIRGIN STEELE, DEVIL CHILDE, PHANTOM LORD, GUARDIANS OF THE FLAME) along with current BURNING STARR members Ned Meloni (DEVIL CHILDE, PHANTOM LORD, GHOST, GUARDIANS OF THE FLAME) on bass and Todd Michael Hall (HARLET) on vocals. Guest musicians for the performance include Lars Ramcke (guitar) and Alex Guth (guitar) from STORMWARRIOR and Bob Jonas (drums).

The latest BURNING STARR CD, "Defiance", was released via Magic Circle Music, the record label owned by members of MANOWAR, on June 5. Produced by Joey DeMaio of MANOWAR, the album includes such tracks as "Black Clouds Of Thanos", "The Beast Inside" and the title track, "Defiance".
