JACK OSBOURNE To Address OZZY Situation During TV Guest-Host Stint

December 10, 2003

Michael Starr of the New York Post is reporting that Sharon Osbourne will be absent from her talk show indefinitely while she keeps a vigil by husband Ozzy Osbourne's bedside in a London hospital.

Guest hosts, including son Jack Osbourne, will fill in for Sharon on "The Sharon Osbourne Show".

"We're going to have some guest hosts and we'll keep the show in production," said a spokeswoman for Telepictures, which produces "The Sharon Osbourne Show".

Sharon will be on today's show, which was taped before Ozzy's accident, while Jack will sub for his mom tomorrow.

"Jack will address his dad's situation at the top of the show," said the Telepictures spokeswoman.

Other guest hosts that have agreed to sub for Sharon include Lance Bass (Friday) and Dan Cortese (Dec. 16). "We have offers out to additional people," the spokeswoman said. Shooting on the third season of "The Osbournes" began last month. An MTV spokesman said cameras were not present when Ozzy crashed his ATV, and said it's too early to tell how or if the crash might affect production on the show.

"Right now, our thoughts and concerns are for Ozzy's quick and full recovery," MTV said.
