It's Official: MUDVAYNE To Fill 'Mystery Band' Slot On OZZFEST's Main Stage

After several weeks of rumors and speculation, MUDVAYNE have been officially announced the "mystery band" on Ozzfest 2005's main stage, according to Ozzfest.com. The festival billing is now shaping up as follows:

As previously reported, VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum has told Launch Radio Networks that the group will play 10 Ozzfest dates, commencing on August 16 in West Valley City, Utah. The last seven dates will be in lieu of IRON MAIDEN, which drops off the bill on August 20.

Ozzfest wraps up on September 4 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
