IRON MAIDEN 'Revealed' On CNN International

May 1, 2008

IRON MAIDEN's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"As many of you will know, especially those who read the tour diaries on this website, CNN International, one of the world's premier international News broadcasters, travelled with IRON MAIDEN on Ed Force One in March through Colombia and Brazil to film live and behind the scenes with the band during the Somewhere Back In Time tour. The footage will appear both online and on the CNN International TV channel broadcasts of 'Revealed', 'a monthly profile of some of the world's most successful, inspirational, creative and influential personalities' (CNN International),which has recently covered such luminaries in their fields as Frankie Dettori, Imran Khan and Haile Gebrselassie.

"MAIDEN marks the first time that 'Revealed' has ever covered a group of people rather than an individual, let alone a rock band, and a metal one at that! Times are certainly changing for the profile and perception of metal!

"As the fans are, of course, a very major part of MAIDEN, CNN International have also asked for the participation of you the fans by emailing to tell them your personal opinion of 'What's the greatest LIVE IRON MAIDEN song and why?' If you would like to participate, the address to mail your answer to is [email protected]. Your responses will be posted to their website, where you will also able to see the entire show plus info and pics of the band.

"You can check out this site now but it goes live on MAIDEN on Friday, May 9 and the programme can be seen there in its entirety in three parts from Saturday, May 10 and for the next six months.

"The details of the CNN International TV broadcasts of 'Revealed' are as follows and trailers start airing May 2:

* Saturday, May 10: 11:30, 17:30
* Sunday, May 11: 07:30, 13:30, 18:30
* Monday, May 12: 13:30, 17:30

All times GMT (BST = GMT + 1 so add 1 hour for UK, add 2 hours for Europe, minus 4 hours for US etc)

"CNN International is available in most parts of the World except North America but fans there can of course view online as above.

"The CNN team were very on the ball and had good access to the band and their support team, the fans and to the filming of the concerts in Bogota, Sao Paulo and Curitiba so it should make for very interesting viewing for you all. So hope you all enjoy it and get some inside track on what it was like to be on Ed Force One, at the massive concerts and to be involved in this short part of the tour."
