IRON MAIDEN Bassist, Son Talk Football; Video Available

George Harris, the 17-year-old son of IRON MAIDEN bassist Steve Harris, took part in a demonstration football (soccer) game in Oslo, Norway on Wednesday (July 23) while trying out for the Norwegian club Fredrikstad (which is currently number one in the Norwegian premier league).

A five-minute interview with Steve and George conducted by Norway's FFK-TV can be viewed below.

George Harris plays lead guitar in a London, England-based band called BURN IN REASON (MySpace page), which is said to be heavily influenced by such acts as KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND and UNDEROATH.

Steve Harris is reportedly a football fanatic who could have played for his beloved West Ham United before abandoning a budding career as a soccer star for a lifetime of metal mayhem.
