INTERNAL BLEEDING: Guitarist CHRIS PERVELIS Rejoins The Fold

October 27, 2004

Long Island, NY-based death metallers INTERNAL BLEEDING have been rejoined by founding guitarist Chris Pervelis following the exit of Frank Buffalino.

Commented lead singer Jerry Lowe: "As most people know Chris left the band physically last may. On every other level Chris has been there for us, so it seems only right that he rejoins the band and will be playing live performances immediately or as soon as they are available. We are happy to welcome him back."

Chris elaborated on the reasons for his return: "I tried. I really tried to walk away from INTERNAL BLEEDING, but I couldn’t. I missed my brothers in the band, I missed writing the music, I missed having a platform on which to speak about my views and most of all, I felt completely dead inside. It's good to be back and I am looking forward to once again contributing to our long, proud history."

INTERNAL BLEEDING's latest CD, "Onward to Mecca", was released last month via Olympic Recordings. The group's first studio release in five years was recorded at Full Force Studios and engineered by Terrance Hobbs (SUFFOCATION). The follow-up to 1999's "Driven to Conquer" marks the recording debut with the band of new singer Jerry Lowe (ex-BODYFARM).
