INSISION Part Ways With Drummer, Guitarist Forced To Sit Out Tour

May 11, 2004

Stockholm, Sweden-based brutal death metallers INSISION have amicably parted ways with drummer Thomas Daun. "[The] main reason [for his departure] was the lack of dedication and interest in [the band]," the group write on their web site. "We thank him for the years and good luck in the future."

In other news, INSISION guitarist Toob Brynedal will be forced to sit out the band's upcoming tour with SUFFOCATION "for medical reasons out of our control."

INSISION's sophomore album, "Revealed and Worshipped", is scheduled for release on July 12 through Earache/Wicked World Records.

The follow-up to 2002's "Beneath the Folds Of Flesh" was recorded at Soundlab studios in Örebro, Sweden with producer Mieszko Talarczyk of NASUM fame.

"Revealed and Worshipped" track listing:

01. No Belief
02. The Foul Smell Of Humans
03. Imminent Vision
04. In the Gallows
05. The Cleansing
06. Revealed and Worshipped
07. The Unrest
08. Grotesque Plague Mass
09. We Did Not Come To Heal
10. Havoc
11. The Ideas Of Revolution

As previously reported, INSISION will be teaming up with SUFFOCATION, DEMENTOR and DISGORGE for a European tour beginning on June 10 in Hengelo, Netherlands.
