INACTIVE MESSIAH To Be Joined By SEPTICFLESH Drummer For ROCKWAVE Appearance

June 21, 2009

According to Metalzone.gr, Fotis Benardo (SEPTICFLESH) will perform with Greek melodic deathsters INACTIVE MESSIAH at the Rockwave festival on June 29 at Terravibe Park, Malakasa, Greece.

Commented INACTIVE MESSIAH's Lefteris: "Fotis has been a good friend for years now and we thank him for his precious help as for the time being we are without a drummer. He is an excellent musician and with him we are sure that we can deliver a kick-ass gig on Rockwave's Crüe Fest."

INACTIVE MESSIAH has commenced work on its fourth album for a late 2009 release. The follow-up to 2008's "Sinful Nation" (Holy Records) will be a concept effort based on the movie "Devil's Advocate", starring Al Pacino, Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron.

"Sinful Nation" was recorded at Devasoundz studios in January/February 2008 and was described as "more aggressive" than its predecessor" yet "dark, atmospheric and majestic." INACTIVE MESSIAH supported the CD by embarking on the "XXV Anniversary Tour" with VADER, SEPTICFLESH and DEVIAN for 42 shows in most of the European countries. After the trek, guitar player Sotiris and drummer Michalis left the band.
