IN FLAMES To Tour Eastern Europe In The Spring

Swedish metallers IN FLAMES will embark on a tour of Easern Europe in late March/early April.

Commented the band: "We have not played live in most of the countries in Eastern Europe and we are all really looking forward to it. Hope to see a lot of new faces and cool places on this tour."

The dates are as follows:

Mar. 25 - Zagreb, Croatia - Tvornica Club
Mar. 26 - Linz, Austria - Posthof
Mar. 27 - Maribor, Slovenia - STUK Sporthall
Mar. 28 - Belgrade, Serbia - SKC
Mar. 29 - Sofia, Bulgaria - [to be announced]
Mar. 30 - Bucharest, Romania - Arenele Romane
Apr. 01 - Budapest, Hungary - Petofi Czarnok
Apr. 02 - Trencin, Slovakia - Piano
Apr. 04 - Prague, Czech Republic - Folimanka
Apr. 06 - Warsaw, Poland - Pogresja

IN FLAMES was honored with the "Best Hard Rock" award at the Swedish "Grammis" gala, which was held on January 7 at Hovet in Stockholm. The band also performed the song "Alias" during the ceremony, which was broadcast live on Swedish national channel TV4.

IN FLAMES was presented with the award by Joey Tempest, singer for the reactivated Swedish hard rock band EUROPE.

The artists were nominated for their most recent releases, all of which came out during 2008.

The nominees in the "Best Hard Rock" category were as follows:

* MILLENCOLIN - "Machine 15"
* OPETH – "Watershed"
* SABATON - "The Art Of War"

IN FLAMES was also up for the "Best Live" award.
