IN FLAMES Announces South America, Mexico Dates

Swedish metallers IN FLAMES will embark on a tour of Mexico/South America in February. The dates are as follows:

Feb. 07 - Monterrey, Mexico - Café Iguana
Feb. 08 - Mexico City, Mexico - Circo Volador
Feb. 10 - Bogota, Colombia - Teatro Metro
Feb. 12 - Santiago, Chile - Blondie
Feb. 14 - Buenos Aires, Argentina - The End

Comments the band: "This is going to be awesome. We have played Mexico before but nowhere else in South America. We have heard from other bands that it is always crazy and always really good so we are really looking forward to this. See you in February."

In other news, the Riverfront Times has uploaded a slideshow of IN FLAMES' December 9, 2008 concert at the Pageant in St. Louis, Missouri.

IN FLAMES, OPETH and BURST have been nominated for a P3 Guld award from Swedish radio station P3 in the "Best Rock/Metal Album Of The Year" category. IN FLAMES is also up for the "Best Band Of The Year" honor. The winners will be announced on January 17, 2009 during a live awards ceremony broadcast from the Scandinavium Arena in Gothenburg, Sweden.
