IMPIOUS Issues New Album Update

April 1, 2009

Swedish death/thrashers IMPIOUS have issued the following update:

"We have cleared our schedules for the next upcoming weeks and we are about to go through all of our new material and try to come up with yet another couple of tunes. We are well aware of that we are a bit slow, but we can promise you guys that it will be well worth it in the end. You guys don't want us to stress through this process, 'cause it well end up in a lousy album. So bear with us! We want to make the best possible album right now.

"We've started working with some lyrics and I hope that we can present some of the new songtitles for you guys in the next couple of weeks. And you can expect a video blog as the recording starts. T'will be sweet!"

The band's latest CD, entitled "Holy Murder Masquerade", was released in January 2007 via Metal Blade Records.

Video footage of IMPIOUS performing the song "Purified By Fire" at New England Hardcore and Metal Festival can be viewed below.
