IMPERIAL VENGEANCE Signs With CANDLELIGHT RECORDS

June 17, 2008

IMPERIAL VENGEANCE, a British extreme metal collaborative between C. Edward-Alexander and David Bryan, has inked a deal with Candlelight Records. According to a press release, the band was formed in 2007 "in an attempt to explore and expand already established ideas and forms, using conceptual material firmly rooted in the glory days of the British Empire, and presenting a wide range of subjects influenced by its colourful social and military histories, theatre, literature and mythologies."

March 2008 saw the release of the duo's latest endeavour: a two-disc package "Death: August & Royal", which comprises of one regular audio CD and a second multimedia DVD-ROM containing videos, interviews, photo galleries and other exclusive bonus material; and features the drumming talents of new recruit to the ranks: William Drury. This release is now running a second pressing and will be available again soon. The band is currently setting its sights in getting IMPERIAL VENGEANCE into the live arena, and has additionally recruited Elle Torry to join the onstage entourage. Live dates will be announced in the very near future.
