IMPALED Sign With CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS

July 29, 2003

Oakland, California's demented, maniacal surgeons known as IMPALED have inked a four-album, worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The announcement comes on the heels of the success of their well-received album, "Mondo Medicale", and on the eve of the release of a conceptual split-CD release with the Spanish stalwarts of gore, HAEMMORHAGE. When reached for comment, guitarist/vocalist Sean McGrath had this to say: "We're very happy to be working with a label with such a good reputation and with an obvious commitment to releasing quality material by the best bands in the business."

Drummer Raul Varela added: "We are ready for this deal, and are very excited to start working on a new album and future tours all over the world and adjacent planets. I'm sure Century Media will help take us to the next level and we'll have the chance to show all the non-believers what IMPALED are capable of doing with the support and professionalism of a real label behind us."

IMPALED are currently hard at work on the material for their next full-length album, due sometime in 2004.
