ILL NINO Singer Offers 'Enigma' Track-By-Track Breakdown; Video Available

May 4, 2008

Sounds2move.de recently conducted an interview with with ILL NINO singer Cristian Machado for a new feature called "Sounds2move.de's Track-by-Track".

Footage of Machado offering a breakdown of the songs that appear on his band's latest album, "Enigma", can be viewed below.

ILL NINO's fourth full-length CD, "Enigma" sold 5,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 145 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"It's really about the deterioration of our planet and the policies that have contributed to the current situation of the world," Machado previously stated about the album's lyrical direction. "It's a story about destruction and consequence. Life and death. Elemental fury and spiritual awakening." And yet for all of its scathing indictments, the album is one of both anger and beauty. "Ultimately I think our message is a positive one. We promote self-awareness and individuality."
