IAMTHETHORN Signs With GOODFELLOW RECORDS

November 21, 2006

Seattle quartet IAMTHETHORN has inked a deal with Goodfellow Records. Featuring Johnny Pettibone (HIMSA, NINE IRON SPITFIRE, GENUINE, UNDERTOW) on vocals, Aaron Edge (GRIEVOUS, HAULER, GENUINE, HARKONEN, HIMSA, CHRIST, HELLEPHANT) on guitar and screams, Joe Axler (SKARP, BOOK OF BLACK EARTH, SPLATTERHOUSE) on drums and Jerad Shealey (RECEDER) on bass, the band plays in a frantic, pissed off, down-tuned style of metal that is influenced by bands such as EYEHATEGOD, CROWBAR, INTEGRITY and new labelmates CURSED.

On February 20, Goodfellow will release the debut CD by IAMTHETHORN, entitled "You Are The Lamb". The track listing for the EP is as follows:

01. The Hunt And Beyond
02. Becoming Death
03. Cutman
04. As The Night Rises
05. Crawling Over Them

A video for the track "The Hunt And Beyond" was recently shot by King of Hearts Production and can be viewed online at this location.

Before the official release of "You Are The Lamb", the band will be doing a short tour in the Northwest U.S. during January. All dates will be with Spokane, WA's BEHOLD. These tour dates are listed below:

Jan. 18 - West Seattle Legion Hall - Seattle, WA
Jan. 19 - Berbatis Pan - Portland, OR
