HYDROGYN: New Audio Interview Posted Online

April 4, 2010

Vicky Bradley (a.k.a. Vix the Angel Of Metal) recently conducted an interview with HYDROGYN members Julie Westlake (vocals),Jeff Westlake (guitar) and Jeff Young (guitar; ex-MEGADETH). The chat is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

The fifth in a series of weekly video blogs from Julie Westlake, Jeff Westlake and Jeff Young regarding the progress of the songwriting/recording sessions for the band's new album, "Judgment", can be viewed below.

The latest addition to HYDROGYN, Jeff Young brings his renowned shredding virtuosity, as evident on the classic and fan favorite MEGADETH album "So Far, So Good… So What!" (Capitol Records, 1988). Jeff joins Julie, Jeff Westlake and New York-based KHZ drummer Joe Migz. Together, they plan to take HYDROGYN on a full-on global assault in 2010.

Laying down bass tracks on the album is James Lomenzo, best known for his acclaimed work in WHITE LION, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and, most recently, MEGADETH.

HYDROGYN is in the midst of tracking and writing for the self-produced album with the aim for a summer release. The first single, "The Right Thing Now", will be mixed with famed producer Michael Wagener (SKID ROW, METALLICA, EXTREME) during the last week of April.

You can hear HYDROGYN's cover version of the MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP classic "Assault Attack" on HYDROGYN's official MySpace page.
