HORTUS ANIMAE, the extreme metal project of ANCIENT drummer Diego "GroM" Meraviglia, have finished mixing their new album, "The Blow of Furious Winds", at Italy's Alpha-Omega Studios with producer Alex Azzali (ANCIENT). The CD will be released on February 5, 2005 via Black Lotus Records in a limited-edition leather bookshape format containing an extra track not featured on the regular edition. The bonus tracks for the limited edition will be a cover version of QUEEN's "Fairy Feller Masterstroke / Nevermore" and DEAD CAN DANCE's "Summoning of The Muse", featuring Liv Kristine (LEAVES' EYES, ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY) on lead vocals. The regular edition will only have the DEAD CAN DANCE cover.
