HORNA Part Ways With Guitarist

Finnish black metallers HORNA have parted ways with guitarist Aarni T. Otava. "The festival gig at Tuska [Festival this weekend] will be his farewell appearance in the band and after that we will begin a serious search for a new devoted soul," the band said in a statement. "Otava had begun to lose his dedication and motives to continue so it was best for both parties that he left before any damage was done. We wish him hell, with good intent of course."

HORNA are currently working on the material for the follow-up to 2001's "Sudentaival" (Woodcut Records), tentatively due in 2004.
