HOOBASTANK To Open For GUNS N' ROSES At Select Dates

HOOBASTANK are extremely close to signing on as the opening act on some of GUNS N' ROSES' upcoming North American tour dates, according to Allstar.

Back in August, HOOBASTANK singer Doug Robb confirmed to Boston Herald that the band had been approached by GUNS N' ROSES about going on tour together. "There's just talk about it," Robb said. "As of right now we are doing our own headlining tour at the end of September. We're not going to sit around waiting on anyone else's schedule.''

"I used to listen to [Axl Rose] all the time, see him on TV,'' said Robb. "Now we get a call from his people requesting us because he's a fan. Who-ah, it's really strange."
