HINDER Frontman Says Married Life Keeps Him 'Level-Headed'

October 27, 2008

The Pulse of Radio reports: HINDER has a reputation for being party animals on the road, but lead singer Austin Winkler might be pulling back on the reins just a bit. Winkler married model and actress Jami Miller at the end of July and told The Pulse of Radio that wedded bliss has been a good influence on him. "It's great, and she keeps me grounded and keeps me level-headed and we balance each other out really well," he said. "So it's great, it's a great life. She works also too so, you know, whenever she, you know, wants to take a break and come out and spend some time with me, it's always great."

Winkler and Miller reportedly met on the set of the video for the band's cover of the STEPPENWOLF classic "Born To Be Wild", which they recorded for NASCAR last year.

HINDER's new album, "Take it to the Limit", comes out on Election Day (November 4) and follows up the band's triple platinum 2005 debut, "Extreme Behavior".

The group has already created ads in which models wearing stars-and-stripes bikinis and holding "Vote for Hinder" signs promote the CD's arrival.

The album artwork will come in PG, R and X-rated versions.

HINDER kicked off this fall's Jägermeister Music Tour on Friday (October 24) with TRAPT and REV THEORY along as the opening acts. The trek pulls into San Diego on Tuesday (October 28).
