HINDER recently released a single called "Halo", the band's first new music since the 2017 full-length LP "The Reign". The HINDER members to release their seventh studio album later this year that will be the first they do completely on their own terms. Hanson explains: "We're excited about releasing the next album, but in a different way than usual. HINDER's original vocalist Austin Winkler left the band in 2013. Less than two years ago, he was sued by the current members of the group for allegedly unlawfully using the HINDER trademark to promote his solo career.
HINDER has reportedly sold nearly four million albums and more than 10 million singles, garnered north of 150 million video views, and racked in more than 100 million streams.
The band's debut album, 2005's "Extreme Behavior", climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart and made its way to No. 6 on The Billboard 200 chart. The album featured one of the biggest songs of the year, "Lips Of An Angel" — a Top 5 hit across eight Billboard singles charts (including No. 1 on Top 40).
HINDER's sophomore effort, "Take It To The Limit", surpassed their debut, peaking at No. 4 on The Billboard 200.
