HELLYEAH Guitarist: 'You Wouldn't Know' Video Shoot Was 'Nothing Less Than Amazing'

March 1, 2007

HELLYEAH guitarist Tom Maxwell (also in NOTHINGFACE) has issued the following update:

"What a week we've had in Dallas, TX!! Did anyone find my liver??? This past Sunday's [Feb. 25] video shoot for our single, 'You Wouldn't Know', was nothing less than amazing. Nathan Cox [director] and crew came out and really captured the essence of the HELLYEAH vibe. We cannot thank him enough for going the extra mile on short legs to get the energy and attitude of the band. Thank you would be too small a word to express the gratitude to you, the fans who showed up in droves and endured take after take of the same song for hours on end. A big fuckin' HELLYEAH out to you all!! We also need to thank the entire staff at The Clubhouse for going beyond measure and hospitality to give us the perfect backdrop for the video. Thank you to all the vendors for hooking everyone up with some badass Texas BBQ and endless rivers of beer and beverage. A huge thank you to The Cowboys for all their hard work and commitment in making sure we had a stage to play on and a place to rest and chill in our downtime. You guys are the best!! A big shout to all the badasses who brought their cars, bikes and choppers down. Rolling fuckin' thunder all around the stage!! And a big goddamn to all the gorgeous ladies who were raising their fists and shaking their tits in true HELLYEAH style. Goddamn!!! Again, thank you all so much for giving us your support and making this a truly great event. We can't wait to get this thing done and out for the whole world to see. Next??? How bout a fuckin' kick-ass tour! Stay tuned.

"Don't forget to get your asses out on April 10th and pick up the record!!!! Hammer your friends and keep spreading the word cause we need all of your help and support to get this thing bigger than life. Call your local radio stations relentlessly and demand that they play 'You Wouldn't Know'. Thank you all again and we'll see you on the road real soon."

HELLYEAH is the new band featuring former PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott alongside members of MUDVAYNE and NOTHINGFACE. The group has made its first single, "You Wouldn't Know", available for purchase via the iTunes Music Store.

The band recorded its album at the Dallas studio, where several PANTERA albums were also cut.

An eight-minute audio interview with Vinnie Paul, conducted last month by Meltdown of Detroit's WRIF 101.1 FM, has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).
