HELLOWEEN: Sifting Through Footage For Upcoming DVD

April 16, 2006

Veteran German power metallers HELLOWEEN have posted the following message on their official web site:

"The band has just finished their successful Latin American tour and is now going to prepare the stuff for the DVD. They recorded three complete shows from Sofia [January 29], Tokyo [March 1] and Sao Paolo [March 25] plus tons of off-stage footage. So the next months will be dedicated to sifting and cutting... a release date is not yet scheduled."

As previously reported, HELLOWEEN's former record company has just released expanded versions of the band's albums "Chameleon", "Master of the Rings", "The Time of the Oath" and "Better than Raw". Late April will see the re-release of the live recording "High Live" as a double-CD with the "High Live" DVD as a bonus.

HELLOWEEN will be teaming up with KINGDOM COME for a North American tour in October. The band's latest album, "Keeper of the Seven Keys - The Legacy", is available now on SPV Records. The lineup on the record includes singer Andi Deris, guitarists Michael Weikath and Sascha Gerstner, bassist Markus Großkopf and drummer Dani Löble (ex-RAWHEAD REXX).
