HEAVENLY Continue Work On New CD, Prepare French Headlining Tour

France's HEAVENLY are hard at work on the material for their third full-length album, which may or may not include a re-working of a song called "Miracle" from the group's first demo tape. Described as “more heavy metal and more symphonic” than the group's previous efforts, the as-yet-untitled album will reportedly be a conceptual record and will be recorded in late spring for a late 2002 release. In the meantime, HEAVENLY will be embarking on a French headlining tour in late April, with support at all shows coming from NIGHTMARE and MALEDICTION. The dates are as follows:

Apr. 30 – Tours, FRA @ La Pleaide
May 01 - Montpellier, FRA @ Rockstore
May 02 - Bordeaux, FRA @ Koslow
May 03 - Clermont Ferrand, FRA @ Coopérative de Mai
May 04 - Amnéville, FRA @ After Club Galaxy
May 09 - Epinal (Eloyes), FRA @ Espace Culturel
May 10 - TBA
May 11 - Lorient, FRA @ Le Manège
May 12 - Paris, FRA @ La Locomotive

In other news, HEAVENLY were recently voted “Best French Band” of 2001 by the readers of two French metal magazines—Hard Rock and Rock Hard.
