HEAVEN & HELL's NYC Signing Session Leaves A Few People Disappointed

August 27, 2009

HEAVEN & HELL — the band featuring BLACK SABBATH members Tony Iommi (guitar),Ronnie James Dio (vocals),Geezer Butler (bass) and Vinny Appice (drums) — took part in a signing session and meet-and-greet yesterday (Wednesday, August 26) at Sam Ash in New York City (located on W. 48th Street) beginning at 6:00 p.m.

One person who attended the event tells BLABBERMOUTH.NET: "The meet-and-greet held at Sam Ash 48th street on August 26th was billed as going from 6 to 9 p.m. Fans lined up and waited for hours on end only to find out at 7:20 that the remaining 50 could not get in. The store failed to let people know ahead of time that they would be cutting the line so people waited for hours in the heat in vain. Furthermore, the band didn't even shake people's hands on the way out. They didn't start signing at 6, like they were supposed to, and they left very early. It was handled like total crap all the way around."

Video footage of Iommi leaving yesterday's meet-and-greet event at Sam Ash can be viewed below.
