March 2, 2007

More dates have been leaked for the forthcoming U.S. tour featuring headliners HEAVEN AND HELL with support from MEGADETH and MACHINE HEAD (as BLABBERMOUTH.NET exclusively reported earlier today). The schedule is shaping up as follows:

Apr. 22 - Phoenix, AZ @ Dodge Theater (first show of tour)
Apr. 24 - San Jose, CA @ HP Pavilion
May 06 - Minneapolis, MN @ Target Center
May 10 - Philadelphia, PA @ Wachovia Spectrum
May 15 - Uncasville, CT @ Mohegan Sun Arena
May 17 - Lowell, MA @ Paul E. Tsongas Arena
May 19 - Holmdel, NJ @ PNC Bank Arts Center (last show of tour)

A total of 15 U.S. dates are expected to be announced on Monday, March 5, with all tickets set to go for sale around March 9. The Holmdel gig will apparently be the final show of this U.S. run.

Tickets for HEAVEN AND HELL's March 30 concert at the Radio City Music Hall (capacity: 6,000) in New York City officially sold out approximately 45 minutes after tickets went on sale on January 26.

HEAVEN AND HELL will kick off a world tour with 11 Canadian dates beginning March 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and wrapping up March 28 in Ottawa, with opening acts MEGADETH and DOWN.

The shows are expected to only feature material from Dio's era with BLACK SABBATH, including three new songs that were recorded for the upcoming anthology "Black Sabbath: The Dio Years" that's due April 3.
