HATEBREED Frontman Talks About The Group's New Video

October 6, 2003

HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta recently spoke to Chart Attack about his plans for the band's new video, "This Is Now". The shoot went down on October 1 at the Float Nightclub in New York City.

"It's gonna be kind of like a two-part video," Jasta said. "Just sort of like all the mayhem from the shows. I think what we're gonna do is just tell everyone, 'Look, come down to this place and just go fucking crazy for the whole thing,' and just record it all. It's not gonna be a show, it's gonna be a real video shoot where people can come for free and just wile out."

"This Is Now" (Windows Media, Real Audio) comes off HATEBREED's third album, "The Rise Of Brutality", due on October 28 through Republic/Universal Records. The follow-up to last year's "Perseverance" was recorded at Planet Z studios in Massachusetts with producer Zeuss (SHADOWS FALL, SWORN ENEMY) and was mixed at Armoury Studios in Vancouver, B.C. with Mike Fraser (METALLICA, AC/DC).
